An original weather forecast app with real time effects
YoWindow is a weather forecast app that stands out from the crowd.
Instead of displaying data as a desktop notification, YoWindow features a colorful, fully-animated window that displays a nice landscape and changes according to actual weather conditions.
Besides having a very original interface, YoWindow is also quite informative. It displays the current weather situation (sunny, cloudy, rainy and so on) plus temperature (both real and the one it actually feels like), wind, pressure, and humidity. All these conditions are reflected in an customizable animated background – which you can replace with your own photos as well.
YoWindow includes the weather forecast for the next three days. You can click on each day to access the information right away, or move the timeline on top to check how weather conditions change as hours go by – and also see beautiful sunsets and dawns. The program can be set as your default screensaver as well.
Generally speaking, YoWindow is a surprisingly nice weather forecast tool, though I missed having more landscape designs to use as background. Another annoying detail was not to be able to scroll down the list of countries and cities with your mousewheel when choosing a location.
YoWindow is an original, colorful app for checking the weather forecast on your computer.

Does not work well with Windows 7 64-bit systems..
Concept is good. However, does not work well with Windows 7 64-bit systems. The taskbar does not update the weather unless you open the application to the desktop ... a big pain!
Pros:
Potential to work in taskbar
Has weather station near me
Cons:
Taskbar does not work with Windows 7 64-bit systems More

Great Free Weather App.
This is a great free weather app for anyone who wants to use a weather app that is officially Windows 7 compatible. The weather is fairly accurate and the software is very customizable for everyone's needs. It even includes a weather screensaver for free. The only true downside is while it has automatic updating, it only updates every 45 minutes to an hour and there is no way to change this. I myself prefer live updates or at least updates every 15 minutes at worst. The free version has the same basic features as the paid, except paid users get pro features such as being able to show more days.I would recommend this software to anyone who uses Windows 7 as it is accurate and highly stable. I have yet to have it crash on me.
Pros:
Windows 7 Compatible
Stable
Accurate Weather Results
Customizable
Free
Cons:
Only Updates Every 45 Minutes To An Hour
